What do you hope to get out of using social media in your business?

My contribution to social media is more strategic to empowering people to shape real value and applying the strength of advocacy, transparency to increase community vitality. I helped to start HiveLive, one of the earlier social platforms and yet can learn a lot from active social media users. I do see the greater potential though and that exceeds traditional business goals.

Introduction

Have an enjoyable career that I would liken to always being on the front of new marketing, brand, innovation, PR and social strategies. I started Headwaters after a 25 year marketing career in HP. Love helping new talent and life on the edge.

What Bill Van E. is saying about this Meetup Group

I saw a lot of positive energy in this group. Each attendee left with some great actionable takeaways. Ron does a nice job and has a real passion to keep the social part of media front and central as we are in a time where humanity needs to evolve and social media has so far been a large part of the change catalysts we see that make companies more innovative, inclusive, agile and genuine. I see that growing so like where I see others expanding on that value. Look forward to the next one. I did not leave as a Sad Panda but certainly had one - great microbrew.
