Our mission is to create a group that fosters and “nurtures” a positive and encouraging environment within our local writing community, bringing out the creativity inside each of us!
We envision creative writers gathering together, celebrating their gift of words, and encouraging others along the wide pathway of authorship.
We believe that within every writer, there are values including Acceptance, Achievement, Authenticity, Collaboration, Commitment, Community, Creativity, Equality, Excellence, Fun, Helping others, Humor, Imagination, Kindness, Learning, Nurturing, Personal growth, Productivity, Results, Self-expression, Teamwork, Wisdom, and Zest for life. The goal of FWCW is to support and exceed these values giving our writers an empowering place to write.
All are welcome and encouraged to fulfill their writing goals.
