    Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival.
This will be my first time in the water on the west coast.
Looking for unique or favorite trip suggestions and any guidance about the tides: (strength of flow & oyster bed warnings/ problems at low tide) Just asking because its new water & doing my homework.
Also, suggestions about motor boat traffic areas to avoid, and driving versus paddling to the festival.
Have to say I will be avoiding all the Blue way festival paddling trips with the descriptions “Easy Paddle”.
    Thanks for any suggestions
    Bruce

Bette...this is perfect for a newbie. You can watch demos and even try out different kayaks that the vendors bring along. SO much to do and see....even without a kayak!
