Making Sense of Analytics

Got Analytics?

Do you know that your Search Engine Ranking can be directly affected by traffic to your website; and this can measured with analytics?
Do you know that you can target your site for higher conversions by acting upon your analytics?
Do you know that you can use Google Analytics to help track your email campaigns?
Do you know that the analytics may be one of the most important, but under-utilized tools of your website?

IIT Campus
201 East Loop Rd, Wheaton

Doors open at 6pm for networking.
Presentation starts at 7pm
$10 at the door

Whether your friends call you a techno-peasant* or you keep score in hexadecimal on your golf card, you will get a lot of cool, useful information on the evening of March 8th at the IIT Campus in Wheaton. This is crucial information to take to your business and help it grow.

The jam-packed evening will be broken into 2 parts:

First, an introduction to the different types of analytics, how the data is captured and how it is reported. Included is an overview of a new tool on the market, (for you server maintainers) and a brief overview of a soon-to-be-released tool that will help you measure your traffic in the social media circles -

During the second half of the evening, Bob will bringus back to the landing pages from February’s presentation and show examples of Google Analytics within the landing pages. The remainder of the evening is all about Google Analytics:

  • Reviewing common practices
  • Understanding funnels, goals and alerts
  • Common customization you can add to enhance your reports

Make sure to check the videos from the February presentation

Thanks go out to David Phyfer at Stage Fright Productions for great video quality and extremely timely editing and posting.

The CEO Series,
This March 11, CEO Series attendees get to hear how John Ahlberg of Waident Technologies delivers on customer service to stimulate rapid sales growth. In 2009 Waident doubled its business and expects to double it again in 2010. Waident is an IT services company that offers the almost unique advantage of being totally customer-focused—a corporate culture of service that far exceeds the industry practice. How can you use this information to help your company succeed by truly delivering on its implied or explicit service promises?

Enabling Solutions,
At Enabling Solutions, we are constantly seeking the best talent available for our clients. We have successfully captured the attention of many of the largest companies worldwide and always have opportunities that are interesting, challenging and fulfilling to our consultants and candidates.

A good meetup, and could be improved with a sprinkling of live demonstration vs. captured images on slides.

Very interesting info, especially the part about how Google Analytics is free. Guess I will be using it ASAP.
