19:30 - 20:00 How to cope with continuous releases in the Kubernetes ecosystem - By Taco Scargo (D2iQ)
When deploying a workload onto Kubernetes you need to keep track of all releases and security vulnerabilities in it’s ever growing ecosystem. On average a sample Kubernetes admin will be confronted with over 130 releases in a 6 month period, including serious security vulnerabilities. Taco Scargo from D2iQ will talk about the options available to tackle this challenge.
20:00 - 20:30 Challenges with collecting billing metrics in a multitenant container environment - By Martin Braem (Klarrio COO)
In a multi-tenant SaaS environment, calculating tenant consumption and billing is a challenging problem.
How do you apportion costs of shared infrastructure resources to each tenant? And what with other forms of tenant consumption like compute?
In his talk, Martin will discuss some of the strategies that you can use to capture and analyze tenant consumption data in multi-tenant environments. It highlights some of the challenges associated with instrumenting your services and architecture to enable a more granular view of consumption that you can use to inform your price modeling.
20:30 - 21:00 Drinks, socializing
The Meetup will be hosted at Klarrio's offices which are walking distance from the Antwerpen central station.
