We're an easy-going and fun-loving group of Ukulele fans from around the Central Ohio area. You will find that our members range in skill from most basic (C, G, F, Am) chords to some pretty impressive playing. Go Buckeye UKulele Society (BUKS)!
We have jam sessions once a month with other activities scattered around! See our calendar for times and locations. These sessions are where members sit around a table and play songs from one of the Ukulele books below, or songs that members may share. Each sessions starts with simple songs, mostly 3 or 4 chords.
We usually play from The Daily Ukulele and The Daily Ukulele Leap Year Edition, both of these books are available at local music stores and from Amazon in both paper and electronic forms. Our typical night attracts anywhere from 10-20 people.
The main purpose of this group is to play ukulele songs together and have fun! We are also interested and post ukulele type events that my be of interest to the group.
