In today’s society, women earn less, save less, and live longer - but are still responsible for the same living expenses that men pay. Women also face additional costs, including more long-term and overall health care expenses. With more than 80% of older women unable to pass a retirement financial literacy test, education about complex financial decisions are needed now more than ever.
As a result, we have launched Women’s Financial Literacy, a complete 6 part female-only seminar series aimed at equipping women with basic financial skills and knowledge to take control of their financial well-beings.
In this particular seminar, we will be teaching you how to evaluate your income and expenses and create a budget. This budget will act as a roadmap to your financial success; through it, you will be able to plan how you will spend and/or save your money each month and keep track of your spending patterns.
Some key topics that will be discussed are the following:
1. Income vs. Expenses
2. Where Is Your Money Coming From?
3. Where Are You Spending It: Fixed, Variable, Discretionary Expenses
**Please bring your year-end credit card annual statements to this seminar**
Space is limited to 12 seats so we ask that you please honor your reservation, or update your reservation should you be unable to attend. Please keep in mind that we aim to do all 6 parts of the seminar with the same group of people. Although attending the seminars consecutively is optional, it is highly recommended as all the information at each seminar is vital.
Light refreshments will be provided.
**This location is on the second floor and unfortunately is not handicap accessible.
