    Join the LGBT Network for empowering evening of learning how to stand up for ourselves! In collaboration with the Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE) , we'll be gaining some concrete skills for staying safe. Workshop participants learn a range of physical, verbal and emotional techniques, violence prevention strategies, and skills that include de-escalation and boundary setting. * This workshop is presented by the LGBT Network's Trans Empowerment group.     LGBT Network’s Youth Planning Council (YPC) is made up of responsible youth leaders, ages 13 – 24 who come together to decide and plan the youth programs and events at our community centers and out in the community. YPC Meetings are held Tuesday night at 7pm, at the LGBT Network Next Generation Community Center in Hauppauge. New members are always welcome! No registration required.

Through weekly team development meetings, the PEP Team helps you build your leadership skills to help spread the PEP message of positive social, emotional, and sexual health of queer life.
