This Meetup group is an informal platform for managing information and RSVPs for Zen Peacemaker-inspired activities in Colorado. This mahasangha (Great Community) of practitioners comprises members of a number of Zen groups in the Denver / Front Range region. These include the Zen Center of Denver, the Great Mountain Zen Center in Berthoud, Willow Farm Contemplative Center in Hygiene and Eon Zen Center in Boulder.
Anyone may join this Meetup group, regardless of whether you are a Member of one of these groups.
The formal affiliation with Zen Peacemakers International, as well as extensive social networking and practice sharing, happens on the Zen Peacemaker social platform, called the Hive. On the Hive, Eon Zen Center is a Regional Affiliate of ZPI and Willow Farm is a Training Affiliate.
Anyone interested in work inspired by the Three Peacemaker Tenets (Not Knowing, Bearing Witness, and Taking Action) is encouraged to set up a personal profile on the Hive at: https://hive.zenpeacemakers.org/. You may also join the Eon Zen and Willow Farm Affiliate "Rooms" on the Hive, as well as any other groups that you are interested in.
At some point, we may retire this Meetup group and handle all logistics and communication through the Hive. For the time being it is helpful to announce events and manage RSVPs.
