Izaak will be talking about his recent work on Pickles, the first deployed SNARK capable of recursive composition with no trusted setup. We'll go over the building blocks of Pickles, the basic concepts of the library, and how it can be used in the context of applications. Bio: Izaak is a mathematician and computer scientist. Most recently, he was a PhD student studying cryptography at UC Berkeley. Prior to that, he worked as a software engineer at trading firm Jane Street, and has contributed to numerous open source projects including the Elm compiler.
