Book Club at the Chapleos

This week we are discussing the remainder of 1984 and its always-topical themes. With the recent Big Brother news happening in real life, and a Telescreen style Microsoft media console on the horizon that is "always watching", this is bound to be a very interesting discussion.

War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Coffee is Good so come join us for some hearty double-doublespeak.

Although we finished our discussion of 1984 and chose our next book, " Free Will" by Sam Harris, we spent the majority of our time planning for the dinner in Jubilee Park with the 5 and 2 Ministries as Ward and Jesse were available to give us final guidance on the menu and provide information on what they would provide for us on site. Kevin Miller filmed part of the meeting for his documentary including only those who agreed to be on camera. We had some time for lively discussion as well. Next week we will begin 'Free Will' which might carry over for two weeks depending on our interest.
