About the event on Wednesday, June 27, I'm sorry about the short
notice. It sounds like it's going to be a great pic. It's called
La Vie En Rose, which is coincidentally the name of another
interesting film which I have on videotape. Pe rhaps we'll have a
movie night at my home someday.

The song "La Vie En Rose" has a special place in my heart.

Let us meet aat 7;00pm at the cinema, which is the Uptown Stage and
Screen, 612 - 8th Av SW.

The life and career of Edith Piaf explodes on the big screen with LA
VIE EN ROSE, a biopic which focuses on Piaf's relationships with
some of the most eccentric personalities of her generation,
including Marlene Dietrich, Yves Montand, and many more.

French actress Marion Cotillard gives the performance of a lifetime
in Olivier Dahan?s fascinating ?dith Piaf biopic La m?me (La Vie en
Rose), which opened the Berlin Film Festival.

French with English subtitles

Running Time: 140 minutes

The screening starts at 7:20pm, and lasts a whopping two hours and
twenty minutes, which means it will be almost ten when it finishes,
but still, I'd like to go across the street for a beer or something
afterwards so that we can talk about
the film.

Please also go now and vote in our polls at:

I'm looking forward to seeing us all at the meetings!
