The Sixth Annual West Valley Island Cultural Festival, Saturday, October 27, 2018
The West Valley Island Cultural Festival is a multi-cultural event celebrating music and dance. There are contests, giveaways, and live entertainment by local performers. Some of the dances will be: Polynesian, Salsa, Belly dance and more! The festival will feature talented musicians, teachers, and dance performers, offering attendees an enjoyable experience.
The festival will add a night show called: Rainbows of Colors. It will be an electric light performance!
There will be a presentation of awards! Lifetime Achievement Awards as well as Certificates of Achievement will be presented to individuals and groups for their artistic contributions.
Pre-festival presentations, dance/music workshops such as Hawaiian Hula, Ori Tahiti, Belly Dance, and Drumming will start in October. Please, continue to check www.wvislandculturalfest.com for details and updates.

ADMISSION FEE: (Pre-sale/Online): $25.00 per person, $15.00 for 13-19 years, and $10.00 for 4-12 year olds
At the door: $30.00/$20.00/$15.00, 3 years and under free
$16.00 Discounts for: Veterans, Seniors (55+), Military, Police, Police Civilians, Fire, Meetup members

Today, the West Valley Island Cultural Festival reveals a partial lineup of talented artists set to take the stage: Tropical Polynesian Productions will open the festival with Hawaiian chanting and Hula Kahiko dance (Ancient Hula), directed by Kumu Hula Kalena known for their energetic and upbeat dances. Also, added to the event will be a special electric light performance in the evening! The theme is Rainbow of Colors for the night show.
This year’s festival will welcome the return of Miguel “El Mambo” De Leon, Abyssinia Benefsefji – gifted dancer of improvisation, Phoenix Dance Conservatory Company, and Steelin The Night Away – Steel Drum all female band.
Also, fun food eating contests – one hosted by Papa Ed’s Ice Cream and prize giveaways! Get ready for an exciting and colorful day of music and dance!
