Elev Change: A bunch
This hike has it all. From the trailhead we will climb the Carney Springs trail, turn to the northeast and go to the "Robbers Roost" area where there
are huge boulders that form an awesome hidden room. After a snack we will hike along the Peralta Trail rim to the Peralta Saddle.
Next, you can either bailout here and hike directly to the parking lot down the crowded Peralta Trail or join us for the Geronimo Cave section of the hike to Bluff Springs trail and the
If you merely walk little Fluffy the Poodle around Tempe Town Lake 2 times a week this is not your hike.
The Carney Springs climb is hard, long and rocky - after that it is pretty much flat.
