Manomet Hill

This is always fun. For those who haven't been previously, it is a real hill, with a rewarding view of the bay up top. Towering 400 feet above sea level, which is 200 feet above the surrounding area, you can see Provincetown on a good day. It's a good workout to get to the top.

Water, snacks and good hiking shoes are advised. We usually hike for around two hours.

We will park this time at the Foothills Preserve lot off Beaver Dam Road near Tidmarsh.

It is deer hunting season for archers. There may be archers hunting in the area but there aren't very many and their shits are all taken at short range, a short enough range to easily distinguish a group of noisy hikers from a deer.
