Join the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest for a hike on a new 8 mile section of the 8 Ponds Pass Trail. This hike will pass through some of the wilder and quieter sections of Plymouth via Wildlands Trust Gramps Loop, and MSSF Pine Barrens Path, Larch Trail and the East Head Trail. This hike will pass by Doctor's Pond and East Head Reservoir and some scenic pine barrens habitat.
Most of the hike is flat and easy with a few small roling hills. You should have done a hike of 5 miles of more in recent months to attend.

Bring along a trail lunch and snacks and at least two liters of water and dress for the ever changing New England weather.
We will stop for a short trail lunch break.

**We will meet at Myles Standish Headquarters, 194 Cranberry Rd, Carver,** **before car pooling over to the Gramps Loops parking lot on Mast Road which is off Long Pond Road where we will start our hike.** The hike will finish back at MSSF Headquarters.
