• Front-end - LAB with CSS Grid

    We ahead

    # Tonights topic - CSS Grid Layout on the web has always been hard, from handling _n_ number of elements in a predictable way, to positioning elements differently depending on size available, Flexbox solved some of these problems, but it wasn't enough. CSS Grid aims to provide a robust solution to all the above mentioned problems. We will take a look back to what lead to this point and dive deep into how to use CSS Grid to make a wide array of layouts, try to explain how to use the new features CSS Grid brings to the table and why you should use it. More information and GitHub-material will be provided closer to the event. # Schedule 17:45 - Free drinks and food is served! 18:00 - 18:05 Welcome from organizer - Axel Fagerstedt 18:05 - 18:10 What is CSS Grid - Jonathan Borg 18:10 - 18:30 CSS Grid workshop material - Simon Emanuelsson https://github.com/simptheshrimp/css-grid 18:30 - 19:50 LAB 19:50 - 19:59 Summary LAB 19:59 - 20:00 Meetup wrap-up 20:00 - 22:00 Optional LAB and mingle This event is open to anyone interested in Front-end development.
