The Front Range Sunday Brunch Club is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of a world fusion cuisine. We seek to integrate ingredients, techniques, and - most of all - flavors from many traditions and cultures into a coherent and satisfying menu that can be easily reproduced in a home kitchen. The principles underlying this project are aesthetic simplicity, the primacy of quality ingredients, excellence in execution, and sound nutritional value.
I founded this group because I love cooking for people, and I want to test out ideas and methods that could find their way into a restaurant I'd like to open some day. So initially, I'm going to do the cooking and organizing. Members need only show up with an appetite, some money to cover the costs of the event, and a willingness to provide thoughtful commentary about the food experience and what a world fusion cuisine might mean to them.
However, I don't want to hog all the fun of hosting a great meal. Any member who wishes to can use this platform to collaborate (with or without me) on an event. I just ask that you do it in the spirit of the club's mission.
