The North Regional Florida Trail Association Conference (FTA) starts on Friday, October 26 and continues through Sunday, October 28. Activities and Conference are open to non-FTA members as well. On-site registration opens at 3:00 pm.

Meals and zipline activities require RSVP and payment to the Western Gate Chapter of FTA no later than Friday, October 19, 2012. Lodging/Camping arrangements are to be made directly with Adventures Unlimited http://www.adventuresunlimited.com/accom.htm Friday events include: "Our Favorite Hike" programs; outdoor recreation applications for smart phones; The Southern Sounds (a bluegrass band) and relaxing around a Campfire

Saturday events include: Programs on native plants, geocaching, using a GPS, camping/hiking gear, trail creation and maintenance, nature photography. Activities include a bird walk, canoe/kayak trip, zipline adventures.

Sunday events include: Hikes in local areas led by trained volunteers; canoe/kayak trip; zipline adventures.
