2.) Pizza and Gelato Making Class at a Tuscan Farmhouse from Florence (optional 5 hour morning & lunch tour) 9:00am pick-up from Florence, Return by 2pm.
➤ Wednesday, July 17, 2024: (Day of Teatro del Silencio Concert in Lajatico Tuscany!) Included breakfast at hotel prior to checkout of Florence hotel. We travel to Pisa via private coach with a scenic stop en route, visit Leaning Tower in the Piazza Dei Miracoli, then proceed to charming town of Lucca for lunch and free time. After free time, we continue to town of Montaione and check into our 28-bedroom Tuscan Villa at Boccioleto Resort and Spa. At 3:00pm, we transfer by private coach to Lajatico to visit Bocelli Farmhouse and Winery with wine tasting, dinner and for the highlight of the evening; Andrea Bocelli Teatro del Silencio concert. We return to farmhouse before transfer to hotel by private coach. Overnight at Boccioleto Resort and Spa.
➤ Thursday, July 18, 2024: Included breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free half day at our Tuscan Villa or join an optional cooking class in a nearby village from 10am – 2pm. At approximately, 3:30pm, our group will transfer by private coach to the charming Tuscan town of San Gimignano (40-minute drive) to explore this Tuscan village on your own. You can taste the World’s Best Gelato at Gelateria Dondoll or browse at the many quaint shops in town. At 6:00pm, we will depart for one of the top-rated Chianti wineries, Tenuta Torciano for a magnificent Tuscan Wine Dinner & wine tasting…. We will taste many wines throughout dinner, and you will have the opportunity to order these magnificent wines. Tenuta Torciano Winery has a warehouse in Illinois, do shipping is free. We return to our Tuscan Villa by private coach. Overnight at Boccioleto Resort and Spa.

At 3:00pm, we visit to Verrazzano Winery for tour of castle gardens and aging cellars, guided tasting of a selection of wines, dinner of gastronomic specialties in the tradition of Chianti Sunday meal served in the Hosteria of the winery. ➤ Saturday, July 20, 2024: Included breakfast at hotel before checkout, 9:00 A.M. departure by bus for Rome, arrival in Rome by 1:00 P.M. for an special Skip-the-line appointment to visit the famed Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel with our local Vatican guide. After this tour, we check in at Quirinale Hotel, free evening to explore Rome on your own. Many Rome sights, including the famed Trevi Fountain, are within a 10–15-minute walk of our centrally located Rome hotel. Overnight at Quirinale Hotel.
➤ Sunday, July 21, 2024: Included breakfast at hotel, free morning to explore Rome on your own. At 11:00am, our group departs by private coach for 12:00pm viewing of Pope Francis’ Blessing at St. Peter’s Square. After this special Papal blessing, we break for free time to have lunch on your own in the Vatican area. At 1:30pm, we join a walking tour of Rome’s top sites in Historic Rome, including Navona Piazza, Saint Angels Castle and the Pantheon. The remaining afternoon is free at your leisure to explore Rome on your own. At 7:00pm, our group will meet at a top-rated family-owned restaurant near our hotel, to celebrate with a Farewell to Italy Dinner! Overnight at Quirinale Hotel.
