Hike is cross-posted with
Calabasas Day Hikers Meetup. At last--it's cool enough for Ojai. We're in a small window of opportunity for hiking here because it's too hot in the summer and often too wet in the winter (making stream & river crossings hard). There's a recently built new trail along the Kennedy Canyon Ridge, so let's get up there for great views of the mountains beyond and the Ojai Valley below. Robert, Holly and I have explored this area several times this year, and between the three of us, we've hiked all the trails. Now we'll try to put a few of them together with loops, lollipops and little side trails. Exploratory Hike We'll be looking for routes/trails/connections, perhaps with some out-and-back sections. So if you like the idea of exploring, and helping with route-finding, this sort of adventure will suit you.
