Ever wondered about the elusive world of contemporary art?

Or perhaps wanted to discover the contemporary art of other cultures?

This is a private guided tour of one of Britain's finest contemporary galleries with a specialist Saatchi Gallery guide. For one hour we will be introduced to this world and in particular to their new exhibition: PANGAEA: NEW ART FROM AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA

The Saatchi Gallery aims to provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the UK.

The audience for exhibitions of contemporary art has increased widely during the recent years as general awareness and interest in contemporary art has developed both in Britain and abroad.

When The Saatchi Gallery first opened over twenty five years ago it was only those who had a dedicated interest in contemporary art who sought out the gallery to see work by new artists. The audience, however, built steadily over the years and by the time the gallery left its second home at County Hall, visitor numbers reached 600,000 per annum.

In the last four years the Saatchi Gallery presented 10 of the 15 most visited museum exhibitions in London!

Upon arrival we will take registration and then promptly begin our one hour private tour with the Saatchi Gallery Specialist Guide. Following this we will be free to roam the gallery as we wish and in smaller groups we will attend the gallery's restaurant/café.

A ticket is £7 per person
