Venice Is Sinking: A Venetian Masked Carnival Ball

We are celebrating the magic of Venice's Carnival in Seattle. Carnival is all about frivolity, fun, music, beauty and a surprise around every corner. That's what you'll find at Venice is Sinking: A Venetian Masked Carnival Ball. The evening's world music theme will be kicked off by local Latin/Caribbean salsa band Tumbao. Then KEXP World Pop DJ Darek Mazzone will take over, spinning high energy dance tunes from around the world all night.

It doesn't stop'll be wow'd and entertained throughout the evening by the circus troupe, Pure Cirkus; performers include: Aerialists, Burlesque Dancers, Contortionists, Fire Performers, Grinder Girls, Break Dancers, Stilt Walkers and more.

And it just gets better, 100% of the proceeds from the Ball will benefit local non-profit Crooked Trails Crooked Trails is a community-based travel organization that organizes and leads responsible travel trips to developing countries like Peru, Nepal, Thailand and Kenya as well as the U.S. Last year's Venetian Ball raised money to make it possible to build La Casa de los Ninos (The Children’s House); a boarding school in the rural village of Chinchero, Peru. Bar stocked by SKYY Vodka, Washington Wines and Dry Soda.

Party attire a must. Dress in masquerade/costume if you want. Everyone must wear a Venetian style mask in order to gain entry. Buy tickets online: $40 online, $55 at the door

Buy them sooner than later, we are only selling 300 tickets.

It was a well organized, planned and entertaining evening. By far the best Meetup event I have gone to.
