Our Organizer Team works hard to bring you the best FREE events each day! This email will also show up on our Message Board page so if anyone wants to comment or take the lead on coordinating a group meeting at any of these events that we cannot personally host, feel free to do so! This group is about community, so caring is sharing on days we cannot host an event personally.

10:00am-5:00pm    Free Pierogi Tasting Day Free

We will be giving out FREE samples of some of the best Pierogies that the Ukrainian community has to offer. This 'Pierogi Party' will include 14 different kinds of Pierogies. The usual suspects like Potato, Cheese, and Sauerkraut will be making appearances, along side newcomers like Short rib and Pumpkin. Pierogies will be available for purchase as well!

Monstrous pumpkins from around the world—all weighing in at more than a ton—once again arrive at the Garden, arranged in collaboration with the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth. Meet the growers to learn more about the growing process during Q&A sessions and enjoy photo ops with these giant gourds.

Just in time for Halloween, we’re transforming Picnic Point into our first ever pumpkin patch within view of Lady Liberty! Wander past the autumn colored Hills to Pumpkin Point where you’ll be able to pick (or just snap pics) from thousands of pumpkins, sip cider and snack on ghoulish treats from Little Eva’s. We’ll even have a spooky hayride to take pumpkin pickers back to the ferry!

For those that are more philanthropist than exhibitionist, the highest fundraiser will score some additional swag.
