We Need You!

This has been an exciting year, guests! We have been quite busy hunting
down artifacts, recruiting new agents, and planning methods of artifact
handling and display.

The Warehouse opens its doors to the public on Thursday, September 27th,
2012, and closes on Sunday, September 30th 2012, Guests will get to view
a wide variety of artifacts, experience agent training (Programming),
meet Scribes (writers), Historians, and many other special top Warehouse
Agents (Guests of Honor and Artists) from many other Warehouses.

In this Top Secret file you will be informed of many important
debriefings of Warehouse updates and agents who will be attending, as
well as other important bits of information.

A Note from the Warehouse Chair.
Hi Rainfurs, the convention is coming up soon and I hope you all are as
excited as us all Agents (Staff) are. Our Agents have been working very
hard to bring you the most exciting event this year. The Warehouse Staff
hopes you all will have a great experience at The Warehouse (Con). I'm
sad but happy to tell you that our hotel is sold out for the first time
at the Hilton, but the Holiday Inn SeaTac hotel is right across the
street and they may have rooms left. Keep watching our web page to get
the latest news of what's going on at RainFurrest. I can't wait to see
you all in September.

Warehouse Furteen Accident Report.
Casino Accident Update - Agents and Guests; this year we had expanded
the warehouse to fit a casino. It looked like you were walking into the
old Sahara Hotel and Casino. While the agents were testing out all the
games, someone sadly (without proper authorization, mind you) used an
artifact to bet with, and the next thing we knew was...well..The entire
casino disappeared!. So if during the con you see playing cards or
dice, please.PLEASE!. let us know, as well, If you see people playing
cards really let us know, so we can get our agents back!!

Registration is closing soon.
We wanted to let folks know that the chance to purchase a presale
membership is rapidly slipping away. Our pre-registration system will
close down on September 1st; after that, memberships are only available
at the price of $40 at the door, so save yourself $5 and register now!
Please note, if you are mailing a cheque, it must be postmarked before
September 3rd, 2012.

Warehouse Entertainment.
Variety Show Entries - Warehouse Guests and Agents, do you have a
talent? Can you sing, dance, or have a skit you want to do? Please
contact Warehouse Agent Xodiac at [address removed] and let him know what you
want to do. Please, Agents and Guests, keep it PG.
Warehouse Furteen Museum - We will be pulling some of the more 'Furry'
items from the warehouse for visitors to see, and we will also have
items throughout the Warehouse (hotel). WARNING: Please don't touch any
of the Artifacts for RainFurrest! RAIn (RainFurrest Anthomorphic
International), or the Warehouse (Hilton) are not responsible for what
may happen.
ALAA Hall of Fame Awards - RainFurrest, Agents, and The Anthropomorphic
Literature and Arts Association (ALAA) (the people that bring you the
Ursa Major Awards), are proud to announce the ALAA Hall of Fame Awards.
These awards are to acknowledge the people that have made our fandom
what it is today.
Warehouse Furteen Agent Training (Events) - Eye popping agent training
programs like Steampunk 101 and Steampunk Props will be available for
you to learn how the old agents made their gadgets (like Nikola Tesla's
Tesla gun, or hydraulic arms, armor, and attire).

Or, for the stay-in warehouse agent, we have training on documentation
of artifacts and photo identification with Nude and Clothed Modeling,
Music Writing, Photography and Furs, How to make a Good YouTube video,
Pricing your Pieces, and more! A must for every guest in the warehouse
is to learn how to entertain themselves for many years of dedication
with Home Brewing Karaoke and Furry Apps.

Also, RainFurrest finally created and is running its own Music Track
with the help of Agent Drewfus.

We have been able to get an early copy of the program guide online.
You can get a gander at it by visiting http://www.rainfu...

Warehouse Charity.
Warehouse Furteen would like to announce its charity for this grand
event! All proceeds via charity auction and donations will be going
towards Rabbit Meadows to help towards food, care, and shelter for our
furry critters that have been found during bagging and tagging of
artifacts. Rabbit Meadows was originally founded in 1989, as the House
Rabbit Society of Washington.

In 1996, they moved into a commercial building on Lake City Way in
Seattle, where we added guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and other rodents to
our rescue. In 2008, we relocated our shelter back to our original
location on Union Hill, leaving our retail store at the Lake City Way
location. All proceeds from the store sales go to our rescue efforts.
Rabbit Meadows is currently in the process of building a two-story
permanent shelter on our Redmond property. With the completion of this
shelter, we will have the space to hold educational events and house
additional rescue animals. We also plan on opening a rabbit, guinea pig,
and rat spay/neuter clinic for low income individuals.

You Can visit Rabbit Meadows at their website: http://www.rabbit...

RainFurrest Anthology Project.
In our warehouse archives we found lots of documentation on previous
historical anthologies and events. Here is what we have found: Starting
last year, RainFurrest sponsored an anthology containing stories written
without themes in mind. All proceeds also benefit the RainFurrest
charity of that year and will continue to benefit that charity for as
long as the book is being sold. After a huge success in 2011, they are
back again with another anthology this year.
