Last month the topic was "Transparency", but we really focused on one aspect of the subject, which is government surveillance of citizens -- but towards the end we started getting into government transparency or lack thereof (secrecy). So this month, we'll continue on with that topic, and then since we started it last month, we'll also get into the subject of corporate and workplace transparency. We'll compare Apple, the world's most secretive corporation (outside of the military defense contractor world) and also the world's best company, with other, relatively more "open" and transparent companies like Google, Facebook, and Amazon.
Note that this will be at the GEORGE REYNOLDS branch of the Boulder Public Library. I know it's confusing switching back and fourth between two locations, but switching back and fourth between two locations is how I manage to get a venue every month, because if we stuck with only one it would be snapped up by other groups half the time.
