To realize the full potential of Modern Data Applications, organizations need to be able to capture both rich, historical insights on data-at-rest, and perishable insights from data-in-motion. While flow management tools are available to help gather, route, filter and transform data from any source, companies have lacked equivalent tools for building the analytics apps needed to extract insight from streaming data. Hortonworks has now addressed this need with the release of Streaming Analytics Manager and Schema Registry, both components of Hortonworks DataFlow 3.0.
Join us for beers and pizzas as we showcase two presentations and dive deeper into the new features of HDF:
Improving Flow Management with HDF 3.0
HDF 3.0 brings a number of improvements for data flows including SQL on Streams and the Schema Registry. This allows for more intelligent decisions when dealing with structured data and helps reduce schema migration pain allowing for faster, more reliable integrations that evolve over time.
Streaming Analytics Manage Demo
This session will provide a quick and short hands-on introduction to Stream Processing without coding. We'll use SAM to connect, aggregate and process real-time events and connect and consume streaming sensor data, filter and transform the data and persist to multiple data sources.
