Holiday Charm- Floral Decorated Manor Home Tour, Lite Bite, Walking!
Details
Let's visit New Jersey Botanical Gardens in Ringwood State Park for a charming opportunity to see the manor house all decked out for the holidays! Local Gardening groups are assigned a room to decorate and they do it in one week.
From their website:The Manor will be decorated floor to ceiling for this year’s theme of A Wonderful Holiday, a sparkling display of imagination and delight. It’s a warm and welcoming start to the holiday season! Get some holiday ideas at the Gift Shop, and enjoy a delicious array at the Holiday Café for a light bite afterwards. See photos for a picture of the menu.
We're going a bit early as this is a packed event so we want to go before it gets too crowded.
For those who would like to explore the grounds (weather dependent) afterwards we can get some steps. This is one of the top gardens in the state known for its beauty and serene setting. Though the garden isn't in bloom we can get a glimpse of the grounds, sculptures and layout.
