Breakaway Games Talks to Games Gateway - Rescheduled to October 29

One of the most prominent serious and entertainment video games companies in the Region, Breakaway Games, will join us on October 16 at 6:30PM.

Walter Cheek of Breakaway will share with us some of the latest games including Pulse!, trends he sees taking place in Serious Games, where this games Initiative is headed, the direction in which it can and will grow. Walter will also cover best practices as to what works and does not work in serious game design, and how to most effectively use this medium for distributed learning.

This will also be an open forum for discussion and commentary so bring your questions and your ideas to the table.

    Walter Cheek of Break Away Games did a great job telling us not only about the company and how it all began, but also giving us golden nuggets of serious games trends and where money can be found. We also had a lively conversation about gaming and education. A lot of passionate people sitting around the table and the conversation was lively.
