Sac Jam #02 Lets stop talking about games and make them!

Well it's that time again! But this time instead of a lovely topic I will be revisiting the whole "Sac Jam" type of meetup... The first one I did back in August had some amazing results! So figured why not do another one. For those unfamiliar with it, basically "Sac Jam", as I have been calling them are a play on the "
Indie Game Jams" which are basically meetings where tons of developers come together and just hack away and actually build games. Usually prototyping new ideas and just having fun with it all! The only requirement is that you need to bring a laptop or some sort of portable computer to work on... Or if you are an artist, designer or something perhaps some paper to write/draw on. The idea is for people to collaborate on ideas and help each other learn how to make games. Although everyone has the freedom spend the period of time making whatever they want, some people may prefer some structure, there for I will be announcing a theme closer to the meetup, until then it's just open-ended. If anyone has questions please shoot me a message :-) Hope to see you all there, -Joe

It was interesting to see how the game designing process begins. The people were friendly and I had a good time.

It was pretty fun. I think I'll have to brush up on some programming skills for the next one.

Super fun meetup! Everyone was great, especially our hosts who were phenomenal providing drinks, pizza, whiteboards, and comfy chairs! As discussed before we left I decided to setup a website dedicated to Game Jams since no one can ever find them. I'm still adding/tweaking but its at so please join up if you're interested in future jams!
