Hey! I have a good amount of experience modeling with maya, and that has been my software of choice. I have never used blender before. Would you recommend attending even if i have no experience? And are the concepts of modeling in maya transferable to blender?

Although I am sure that George can speak more towards your Maya skill set carrying over to Blender, it's an entry level class so no experience people are more then welcome.

Yes, in fact it's actually geared to people who have little to no experience with the software, and the concepts are definitely transferable. It'd be great to have you. :-)
