24h Game Jam: Casual Looming

You have always wanted to make a game but never found the right people? You're already making games in your day job but they take years to complete? Why not try something new?

Munich Indie is a loose collective of people in Munich, Germany who like to create games. We organize semi-regular (read: a handfull every year) 24-hour game jams. What is a game jam, you ask? "A game jam is an organized get-together with the intention of creating a full game – from conception to completion – in a pre-determined, short period of time."

That means if you want to work with other enthusiasts (professional game developers, students and hobbyists alike) on making something innovative in a very short time, then feel free to join us for the next jam. You should have some applicable skills (programming, 2D/3D art, audio, game design, writing) but do not have to be a master in any of these.

    Hat Spass gemacht, mit Loom direkt was für die OUYA zu bauen, auch wenn der Live Asset Reload nicht ganz so gut funktioniert hat und die Engine noch nicht so ausgereift ist, wie wir das gehofft haben. Aber schon was ganz anderes, sein Spiel aufm Fernseher zu sehen und mit nem Controller zu steuern. Team hat auch gut zusammen funktioniert.

    Quick update: We're gonna play around with Loom ( and the Ouya ( We're a team of five right now and probably gonna jam in our office (C4 @ Werk1). This jam will be very low-key and not a lot of hand-holding will be provided. So feel free to come join us to hang out and jam but expect to have to be self-sufficient. Also: We'Re still looking for an audio guy. =D

    Werde meine OUYA mitbringen und blocke mir nächste Woche Zeit, dass ich ein laufendes Loom Setup habe und auch schonmal nen Deployment auf OUYA gemacht habe (kenne Unity zu wenig ;)).
