Gamifiers Meetup - smarter competitions

At this month's gamifiers meetup we will learn all the tricks of the trade in how to run a great gamified competition from the experts.

We'll be hearing from four world class gamification experts including:

Johann Odou from Gammify.com on how he ran the massively successful ModelUp financial modeling competition and his plans for the Gamification World Championships

Luca Massaro from Exaleague.com on the social media performance league for startups that is gaining traction across the London tech startup community.

Drew Spencer, creator of the poweRBrands Facebook game for Reckitt Benckiser

Andrzej Marcewski from marczewski.me.uk with a regular slot of "what's hot this month in Gamification"...

If you are involved in Gamification in the UK and want to stay current with everything that's going on in this fast emerging space then the Gamifiers meetup is the place to learn the latest and grow your network.

Please do RSVP even if you can't make it, as this helps us with our planning.

Cheers

Toby

Gamifiers is a community run event and sponsors are welcome to get involved - i.e. we're looking for about £300 for a coffee & croissants sponsor for the event...

It was a very informative event, full of inspiring ideas. And thanks for the opportunity to come and talk at the next event, Toby. By the way, I couldn't find the original report about that German (or Dutch) municipality that has reduced AVG household electricity bill just by posting online bill amounts of each households (but there are some US studies available) in the neighborhood. Such peer pressure was very effective, as nobody wanted to stand out in having the highest bill, so that neighbors would start pointing fingers.
