Join us as composer and sound designer Amar Ibrahim, walks us through the difference between linear and interactive/non linear music. He will show us his tricks finding the right score for a game and what his work process is like from ideation to creation. Amar will also talk about the biz end of things, the history of game audio, and what we might be able to expect in the future.

Amar Ibrahim’s experience in the gaming world has spanned from audio design to production. With 8 years under his belt, he has worked on over 25 titles in the casual games field. Amar cut his teeth at Gamelab designing and composing gaming audio. He then brought his skills to Freeverse, which was then acquired by NGMOCO. With a passion in exploring non-linear and adaptive audio, Amar continues to freelance in audio design. In his spare time, Amar enjoys flexing his superpowers in training keyboard cats and giving brains to jellyfish.
