Wildflowers in Public Spaces

There are wildflowers blooming and we are going to take a look. Sunland Welcome Nature Garden is a volunteer gardening project in a public space. Roger Klemm, who is spearheading the local native plants garden on city property, will join us after 10:30 AM. Bring your camera. There are over 50 species of plants from locally sourced seeds and cuttings.
Optional Lunch: at Back Door Bakery nearby
Directions: Take the 210 Freeway and exit at Sunland Blvd. You have arrived. Parking: Turn onto Sunland, then immediately turn left into the Ralph’s shopping center. Park by Sizzler. Walk back to the freeway exit.
History: Somebody planted Fountain Grass which is invasive. This was the remedy.

Got here a bit too late, saw no one around. Maybe next time.
