You are cordially invited to attend the 45th Chicago Annual Montrose Beach/Rocks pride picnic. There are three other LGBT Meetup groups participating. It is a great time to meet and greet like-minded people. Walk or drive over to the Chicago Pride Parade before it starts and get a good spot or swing by afterwards. If you will be attending, please bring food or drinks early enough to accommodate this activity. If you are not bringing a food item, we ask that you donate $5 toward expensives.
We hope to see you there. Bring your chairs/tents if you like.

    Hi everyone,
I hope that you are still planning on attending the gay pride picnic near Montrose Harbor.
If you come off of Montrose you will turn left before you enter the Montrose Harbor area. Keep up the road until you see purple and white balloons and a green tent. This will be us. If you end up at Wilson Ave, you have gone too far. If you are on the bike path, the same directions will apply.

Let's celebrate the pride parade as well as the pride picnic!

    Hey all,
No green tent! Purple and white balloons will be there. I will be in a lime shirt. I do look like my photo too.

    Happy Gay Pride Weekend!
    Just a reminder:
If you do not contribute food or drinks, please bring your $5 per person. Bring you chairs and tents if you desire to do so.

Hi everyone, this is the last reminder that the picnic will be this coming Sunday, June 29th from 7am till 4:30 pm. I am asking that you bring something that everyone can eat. There is also a $5 donation if you don't bring food or drink. You can come before the parade or after the parade. The choice is up to you.
Please let me know who still plans on attending so I can do an accurate head count.
Our spot will have markers with purple and white balloons. If you exit off of Montrose and follow the parking lot around the curve (turning left), you will find us. If you hit Wilson Ave., you have gone too far. I am also willing to send out a mass email or text message of our exact location once I have set up. I will be there at 6am preparing.
Also ice is really needed. F.Y.I. this is one of the only times that Chicago will allow alcohol in the park so if you choose to then B.Y.O.B.. This is strictly your preference and has nothing to do with this meet up site.

    Hi group,
This is a reminder that the Montrose Harbor beach 45th Annual GLBT picnic will be before, during, and after the Pride Parade. If you would like to swing by and hang for a bit, you are more than welcome. Most of us walk over to the parade or ride the bus so we can have a full day of fun. Check it out!

I will be riding the Chicago Gender Society's float in the parade. Thank You for the invitation, but I have already committed to the "after parade celebrations", with CGS members.
