• Regular Wednesday Open Hack.

    Location visible to members

This is our main weekly meeting for TechSpace members and guests to work on their projects or come learn a new skill. This meeting is open to guests. To become a full TechSpace member please see our separate Membership page (https://gctechspace.org/members/) on the gctechspace.org website. It is not a talk fest: members are usually working on projects, either alone, working with someone else, or demoing something to the group. If there is a theme for the week, someone in the group might go off to the side and present something or lead a study group. This meeting is open to all, but if you have already been to TechSpace a few times though, it's good etiquette to apply to be a member. Please refer to "Membership" Web page (https://gctechspace.org/members/) for more details.

  • Gold Coast Friday Jelly

    Gold Coast Innovation Hub

What is Jelly? Jelly is a casual working event. It's taken place in over a hundred cities where people have come together (in a person's home, a coffee shop, or an office) to work for the day. We provide chairs and sofas, wireless internet, and interesting people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off of. You bring a laptop (or whatever you need to get your work done) and a friendly disposition. Watch this video about Jelly, or read about it in Wired, http://www.vimeo.com/246107 http://www.wired.com/techbiz/people/news/2007/07/coworking This Friday we will be having a shared lunch at 12:00pm. So please bring along five dollars to enjoy a lunch at the Innovation hub. We will be catering the event based on numbers at 10:00am, so if you are going to arrive late and would like lunch be sure to make contact through meetup. The hub community manager is organising a shared table tennis competition from 3pm with beers. So organise a team and come ready to compete.
