I don't know if I've ever mentioned it in here, but I found www.cookingforengineers.com a while back. It's got a really nifty way of laying out recipes in a very efficient, easy-to-read and efficient manner. I recently transposed a recipe from a cooking book into the format: http://imgur.com/TrfO8

I think it's pretty clever and compact. It gets a bit tedious for recipes that have a lot of steps performed to the wholly-mixed ingredients, and it misses a fair bit of detail, but it's an excellent tool for reminding me how to make my favourite foods.
