For those of you that missed the meeting tonight, Mano Marks has a page with code lab sample code here:

And there is also this tutorial for the new Google Maps JavaScript API V3:

Plus, there is this much more in depth presentation by Mano Marks and Chad Killingsworth from Google I/O earlier this year:

Finally, we had a lighting talk about the Kynetx Platform tonight. I mention this because they are hosting a *free* one day intensive training designed for programmers interested in creating applications for the "Real Time" and "Evented Web." You will learn how to leverage trends like the use of real-time data including webhooks, Restful APIs, streaming data from sources like Twitter and Facebook, and internet identity protocols like OAuth--all using the Kynetx Platform.

Kynetx Impact Dev Day
Friday, November 5th
Computer History Museum
Free registration:

The demo was quite impressive tonight. If you have the flexibility to attend this one day developer event on Friday, I think it would be well worth your time and the price is right. =) The event goes from 9am to 5pm on Friday and lunch is provided. I hope to see some of you there.

That's All Folks, Van
