Geek Physique Archery

Fall is coming fast! And while most bow hunters are getting ready to take down a deer, we geeks have other plans. Whether we are fighting zombies, Daleks, or even prehistoric giant lizards, we're ready to take on them all on, with a trusty bow and quiver of arrows.

What? You say you don't have one? No worries, we've bows to spare. And if you need a little help getting started, well this geek archer is happy to help.

So if you want to slay a dragon, or take down a Sith Lord, you can come join us for Geek Archery!

"I shoot arrows now. Shooting arrows is cool."

What a great shoot. I'm so glad everyone was able to show up and take out Jar-Jar and Bobba Fett. This was a lot of fun!

Is this something I can bring an 11 year old to? He has had some archery instruction at YMCA camps (which means he knows a lot more about archery than his mom!)

My sister is going to be in town and I don't want to abandon her for the day. If she doesn't mind being dragged along, we're in!

Just got a thumbs-up from Kathe, so if the weather is halfway decent, we're there!

Interesting, can I bring my 10 year old?

Trena, Absolutely you can bring your 10 year-old. We have plenty of bows for both kids and adults! Kids are welcome (when accompanied by a participating adult) at most Geek Physique events, unless otherwise stated. We do have an occassional Adults only event, but those details will always be published in the event post.

Is there any kind of cover charge for this?

    November 2, 2012

    • Yuk L.

Nope. We do take donations to help cover the cost of equipment, but that is strictly voluntary. I just want to make sure everyone has fun.
