Every December we get together and reflect on the year of anime.

We have a little award ceremony where we look at what shows did the best in different categories (such as animation, art, music etc.) and we also watch the highest rated show of the year.

This year that show is Takopi's Original Sin. It's a short 6 episode anime dealing with quite heavy topics around abuse. It is not an easy watch so do heed the trigger warnings.

In addition to that we're also watching the movie Look Back which is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto (creator of Chainsaw Man).

**Date :** 3pm on 13 December
**Venue :** It will be in Rivonia, exact venue to be confirmed on Discord
**Anime that we'll be discussing :** We're going to discuss two anime. 1. Look Back (movie) and 2. Takopi's Original Sin (6 episodes)

**Event size :** 8 people max (If enough interest I'll open it up to more)
**Event fee :** R50 per person secures you a spot. Paid in advance(contact Alex/Kodama for banking details)
**Cancellation Refund Timeframe :** You need to cancel before 6 December to qualify for a refund. This is to give anyone else on the waiting list sufficient time to watch the anime.

You **need** to watch the anime in order to join us as it will be the main subject of discussion.

These events are usually fun and interesting deep dives into various anime where we discuss our perspectives. Each event we pick up on things we missed and see shows that we normally wouldn't. We also discuss other things at these events and is mostly light hearted.
