  • Fireworks and Picnic on 7th of July SUNDAY bei Jerry

The Fireworks were postponed by the town until Sunday, hence we will hold the picnic on Sunday, same time, same place --- (Diese Nachricht ist in Englisch, sorry. Bei Ihrer Ankunft finden Sie viele Deutschsprachige ! ) Fourth of July fireworks come a bit late to Greenwich this year! We've had this event annually for a couple of years now, and it's always a hit. The Greenwich town fireworks display is visible from my backyard, but it's more fun to walk (8 min.) down to Binney Park and see them, gratis. They begin just after 9:00pm, so there is a 3 hour window you can come to my backyard and join the cookout. Rain-date is Sunday, same times. All members plus family are welcome, children and guests included. For this Meetup, we are asking people to bring their own food and drink, including meat you'd like to grill on my Weber (I have charcoal which I will light around 6:00 or earlier is requested). If you have s/t to share with others, wie Vorspeise oder Nachtisch, that's always welcome. I have some lawn chairs but please bring your own (or blankets) if you want to sit. An extra ice chest is nice to have, and I will provide all the ice. Shortly before the event, I'll send out my address to those who RSVP. Note: There's a $2 fee per Family to cover our Meetup membership and charcoal, ice, paper- and plasticware that I provide. Ich freue mich darauf ! Jerry and Vesna
