Hello everyone.

We received the following message from Allie Birchmeier, a Team Development Specialist from AFS-USA.  If you are interested in hosting a German student in your home (or would like more information), please contact Allie directly.  Her contact information is included at the bottom of the note.  Thank you!

I am reaching out to you on behalf of local volunteers in the Hartford Area. AFS-USA Intercultural Programs a non-profit organization has a number of German speaking high school students coming to the US this fall. We are currently looking for host families for these students. A host family incorporates the student into their lives and provides a bed and meals. This is a wonderful opportunity for a family to be a part of. I was hoping you could spread this need among your community of fellow German speakers. Here are a few of the students looking for homes! http://www.afsusa.org/host-family

Pirmin from Germany Age: 17 years Program length: Year

Cheers,
Allie Birchmeier
