Camp Out at James Island County Park

Join Get Out! Charleston for our second camp at James Island County Park!

We'll be setting up group camp on Friday, November 14th at 3 PM and staying until Saturday 11 AM. Bring your family and friends. Please RSVP especially if you plan on camping so we can get you a parking pass. Camping is $20 per family for the night in the group spot that we reserved. If you are camping, you do not need to pay the entry fee. If you are coming for a shorter period of time, you’ll need to pay the $2 per person entrance fee to the park.

Even if you can't stay the night, feel free to join us any time. Don't miss out on the fun! 🔥

Some important things to note:

1. We have a group primitive tent site that can hold a large number of people and tents. We can get another site if need be, but please sign up so we can reserve an extra one.
2. ⁠There are nice bathrooms and showers a short walk away from the campground site.
3. ⁠ If you are staying overnight, you do not need to pay admissions, simply tell them you are camping and head to check in at the campground. If you have a park pass, please use it at admissions, but still check in at the campgrounds if staying overnight.
4. We have ten overnight car tags that can be checked out when you register at the check in office. Families, please bring one car and carpooling is encouraged to make sure we don’t run out.
5. ⁠Please read the camp rules as there are some important ones you don’t want to miss such as their hours, quiet times and no alcohol/smoking policy.
6. ⁠We will have a big screened in gazebo if the bugs are bad, but they normally are not this time of year.
