‘A Night in September’ is the newest release from The DC Experiment, a follow up from their debut album ‘Parallel Universe’ released in 2009. After a year and half hiatus, they are back with new material and consistently gigging in venues all around Dublin, such as Captains Live and The Czech Inn. The band also visited Amsterdam earlier this year, where they were very well received.
Accompanying the ‘Night in September’ single is a video, filmed in late 2012. The video features various venues around Dublin city such as Sweeney’s and The Mingle Market on Thomas Street.
Gigonometry welcomes back My Pyrrhic Victory, fresh from their amazing support slots with Big Country in the Olympia, Dublin, and in Belfast. With their debut album, Equinox, in its final stages of packaging, the band are currently touring venues to promote the release of the albums forthcoming tracks and will be headlining the album launch in The Academy, Dublin over the summer. Gigonometrists get to preview the new material at this show; you can say 'I knew them when....'
These guys formed a year ago and have been rocking Dublin and beyond since with their intelligent rawk and fantastic stage show. Fronted by the energetic Babz on lead vox and high heels and backed by a solid rhythm section allowing guitarist Chris to experiment brilliantly on electric guitar; this band are not to be missed!
How many times have you wanted to go to see a band but you can’t rustle up any interest from your circle of friends? “Never heard of them”, “I’m broke”, “Working in the morning”….you’ve heard all the excuses, so you end up missing out.
Gigonometry, an online group of music fans, aims to end the isolation of the dedicated gig goer forever!
Joining is easy, and instantly puts you in touch with hundreds of others in your area. Next time you want to go to a gig, just send your idea to the group, and before you can say “does anyone….?” you’ll have ample company for the night!
And that’s not all; the group runs a monthly gig in The Workmans Club, meets up to share music ideas, discuss bands, gigs and festivals, even to write reviews on their favourite gigs, albums, bands.....
