DETAILS, PLEASE READ! I have tried to answer all the questions that have come up in years past. AND gate code will be given a few days prior.

\*For the Fashion Swap, please bring up to 5 (or more, see farther down) items to swap with other meet-up members! These items may be clothing, jewelry, scarves, shoes, handbags, etc. These items must be in like-new condition. You may bring items in any size as we have members of all sizes.

\*No rips, stains, missing buttons, fading, stretched-out fabric, etc. We are not taking bathing suits or pajamas (unless brand new), undergarments (except for donation - see below), tank tops (unless designer) short shorts, or really inexpensive items. Shoes must not be scuffed or worn out in the heels/soles. (A few years ago, we had a few items that snuck in that probably shouldn't have, which is why we have these gentle reminders). To this end, we will have members checking items at the door. 99% of what has been brought is FINE!

\*Very important _ Please try to bring your items on hangers, although hopefully, we will have extras.

\* You will also need to bring $5 (may go down to $4) in cash to help pay for the room.

\*You should also, if at all possible, bring a snack to share.

\*So, about the five items, YOU MAY BRING LESS - you will just get fewer turns to pick. So, if you bring 3 items, you will have up to 3 picks, etc.
\*YOU MAY BRING MORE - but you will still be limited to 5 turns to pick. (WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BRING MORE? FOR DONATION AND TO GIVE MEMBERS A LARGE VARIETY TO CHOOSE FROM). I will be bringing 20+ items. (You may bring items separately that don't meet our standards for the swap, but just for donation - please bag these separately.)

\*Even if you bring 5 nice items, you may not find 5 things you want to take home. BUT, isn't it great to clean out your closets, give things to others who would love them, donate to charity, AND find a few new-to-you pieces?!

\*We take turns so that no one has a second pick before anyone has a first, etc.

\*We may need more clothing racks, maybe a table or two, and hangers, especially the clip kind.

\*OPTIONAL - we collect new or gently used bras and unused sanitary items for homeless girls and women. We will have a box for this. Any size/style of bra is fine.

\*This is a really fun day and a great opportunity to get to know some other members. When you are not choosing, or oohing and ahhing other's picks, you can be snacking and socializing.

\*There is a separate bathroom for changing as well.

\*I think those are most of the details. To recap: Bring 5 lovely items, $5 in cash, and a snack to share. Bring extra hangers if you have them! Bring a clothing rack or table if possible. Expect to find a few nice items. Items you bring that are not chosen get donated. You may also bring extra items just to be donated.
