SUMMARY:K2 Ribbon Cutting & Trail Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Grand Junction CyclePaths\nLet’s celebrate our newest trail\
, K2 in honor of Kristina Kittelson\, Meet at the main trailhead at 18 Roa
d at 9am. Join the ribbon-cutting\, ride the trail or stay and help with t
rail maintenance. Be sure to sign up at COPMOBA.org.\n\nAbout Kristina: Kr
istina was a fierce advocate for cycling. She shared her passion for our l
ocal trails through multiple ways. She was a master at connecting fellow c
yclists\, which served to create and forge a lifetime of friendships. Kris
tina inspired hundreds of women in cycling when she created the Singletrac
k and Skinny Tire Sisters of Western Colorado ride group. Many women bonde
d and advanced their ride skills through this group. Kristina also helped
to promote COPMOBA’s mission when she served as their coordinator from 2
014-2017. Kristina was a complete badass on the bike and her skill set was
what dreams were made of\, but more importantly\, she is remembered for h
er kindness\, compassion and willingness to share her wisdom and bring so
 many cyclists together.

SUMMARY:Empty Bowls\, Let's do it together
DESCRIPTION:Grand Junction CyclePaths\nGrand Valley Catholic Outreach is o
ne of the most important resources we have for unhoused and underserved pe
ople in the valley.\n\nTheir big charity event every year is [Empty Bowls
](https://catholicoutreach.org/bowls/) where you get to choose a pottery b
owl donated by a local artist and then have a bowl of soup in it.\n\nIt wo
uld be way fun to do this together. Mostly it's just waiting in line and t
hen sitting down for soup together\, but doing it together would be loads
of fun.\n\nLet's meet right where the sidewalk goes back toward their entr
ance\, right by their parking lot. (You'll probably have to actually park
at one of the justice center lots or something.)\n\nIt's not essential\, b
ut it's probably easiest to pre-pay the $25 at https://catholicoutreach.or
g/bowls/\n\nIf you can't come\, send them a donation there anyway.

SUMMARY:Wolverine loop
DESCRIPTION:Grand Junction CyclePaths\nWolverine loop is a high clearance
dirt road in grand staircase escalante area. We will bikepack it for two d
ays and leave the cars behind. should be an easy trip of only 42 miles and
an option of riding up the pioneer mesa 8 mi. and a trip to a petrified f
orest as well. The usual grand views of the high desert. I would love to c
heck out Horse canyon for another trip someday to the escalante river but
that has some deep sand spots so\, we will leave that for next time when w
e are in better shape and really willing to go fori it!! Cant wait! sunday
after the ride we can hike upper muley twist canyon or ride it to see the
three arches there. Monday if some can stay a day we can hike lower Muley
twist canyon. It is also an experience just to drive the route from cains
ville down the Notam road along the reef and then up the burr road switch
backs!! This will lead you to the start of wolverine loop! If your driving
home through Boulder its also an incredible view towards Torrey! More lat
er but here is the ride:\nhttps://ridewithgps.com/routes/57295675?via=92rD
