Fire,Full Moon and going away party for Olie

Olie is moving away. Let's have a party for her. Come and enjoy the night.
It's time again for the biggest and bestest event of the month. Same place. Those that don't know the location, look for us in the parking lot at 8:00 or call/text me.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody there. Let's tell some stories and meet some great people. Let's have some fun. I'll bring hot dogs, buns, condiments, tables, utensils and marshmallows. Bring a friend or 6.

Follow 7th st. to the end, turn left, then right in the parking lot. Follow the side walk up the hill and turn right at the top. Then first left and follow over the wooden bridge to the end and then go left. Follow until you see the tiki torch or light -go straight on dirt path and you'll see us on the right by the river. Come early if you'd like to fish.
If you play an instrument, please bring it and entertain us.
Let's have another great turn out. Last month we had over 30. Great chance to catch up with those you know and meet some new people too.

Full Sturgeon Moon – August The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because, as the Moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. It was also called the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.

This month's full moon, which rises on Tuesday (Aug. 20), is not just a Blue Moon — it's also the Full Sturgeon Moon, the Full Red Moon, the Green Corn Moon and the Grain Moon.
Today's full moon qualifies as a Blue Moon because it's the third full moon in a season with four (most seasons have only three). Historically, there have been two different definitions of a Blue Moon.
Technically, a Blue Moon is the third full moon in a four-full-moon season. However, a 1946 article in "Sky & Telescope" magazine mistakenly defined it as the second full moon in a single month (since most months have only one full moon), and the definition stuck.
The annual August full moon has come to be known as the Full Sturgeon Moon, because the large fish called sturgeon can most easily be caught at this time of year. The name came from tribes who caught this fish in bodies of water such as the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain.

Looking forward to tonight, I won't be able to stay too long as I am just not feeling good and difficulty with the walking and using my hands. Just physically spent and exhausted. But.. I will be there :)
