Book Club updates and schedule for the next few months

OK,OK I'm sorry to you all for not getting this out sooner. Keep this email for your records. It will be the schedule for the next few months.

We have a little different twist this and the next couple of months.  We are reading  "FISH" Seattle's Pike Place Fish Market  by John Christensen.   A very fun true story and easy read. Took me just over an hour and I'm a slow reader.  There is also a movie for this, it's a short film (40 min). We'll watch this at our next Book Club meeting. So even if you haven't read this, join us, watch the movie and join in the conversation of this fun and life changing book/movie.

Then here's the challenge.   We are also reading "Atlas Shrugged" a world classic by Ayn Rand. Someone said it's at Barnes and Noble in paper back for about 10 bucks. It is a classic that has risen in talks every where lately. That's because it was written in the 50's and is describing what is happening in the world today. It is a very interesting and exciting novel. The reason this is a challenge is because this is a 1200 page book. BUT, don't faint yet. We will have a very short book each month while we read "Atlas Shrugged" over the next 3 months. I have read it many years ago and am enjoying starting it again. You can get in at or or at the local book stores.

So, if you understand the email so far-you doing good.

Our next short book for July will be "Peaks and Valleys" by Spencer Johnson.

The short book for August will be "The Present" by Spencer Johnson.

These are very easy quick reads. As we read "Atlas Shrugged" over the next 3 months, we'll talk about it when we review the short books.

Then thanks to Denise, we will do "The Healing Code" by Alexander Lloyd, PhD. Less about couples, more about healing the self physically, spiritually and psychologically. Thank you. The reviews look awesome. We will do this in September.

Now you have our line up for the next few months.

Thank you all, plug in our conversations even if you haven't had a chance to read the book.

The next one you will want to come and watch the short fun video.

Hope to she you there.
