Help the Largest Free Japanese Cultural Festival in the Pacific NW! We need 0ver 100 Volunteers. Check in at the Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center.
We Need the Most Help at the Volunteer Check-in Booth from 9 am to 2pm.
There will be Free Exhibits, Free Performance (Sat and Sun) including Martial Arts, several Taiko Groups (On Sat and Sun), traditional Japanese Dance, Koto, Chorus, Story-Telling, Films, Lectures, Community Groups, Kimono Dress-up. Ikebana, Calligraphy, Tea Ceremony, Bonsai, Origami, Samurai Sword Displays, Go Demo, Doll Making, Wood Craving, Kid's Passport. Kid's Games and Much More!
Free T-shirt for Min. of 4 hours of work and access to Hospitality Room. We will have Green Tea and Free snacks.
Beef Bowls, Curry and Spam Musubi will be for Sale. Bring Cash to purchase Food. The Gift Shop will Accept Credit Cards.
Shifts: 10am - 2pm or 2pm - 6pm. Noon - 4pm. 11am - 3pm.
Volunteer Check in Booth Starts 9 am. Positions: Info -Booth, Security, Gift shop, Film/ Lecture Attendant. Kids' Games will be done by the Younger ESL and H.S. students.
